The Trouble Behind Male Cats

Who can resist cuddling a kitten?

Behind those furry ears, those sad eyes and those tiny meows are a very serious problem.

Male kittens have a short span of time to get adopted. At four months old, they can begin impregnating other cats because they aren't neutered. So, they can't stay in the kitten room and they can't go in the cat room because a majority of the females are not yet spayed, either.. Do you know what that means?

Bad news for male cats.

It's a sad truth behind the animal shelter walls! The fact is, one female cat can reproduce 144,000 times in 7 years.

Here's what we need to do:

1. Adopt or sponsor a cat!
2. SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS!
3. Spread the word: Tell others to spay and neuter their pets.

If we can reduce the number of cats who are reproducing, maybe we can find happy homes for the ones we have and stop this terrible epidemic.
